UK Charcoal Products UK Ltd has been importing charcoal products into the UK for the past 10 years.  The company originally imported pre-packed products to supply the restaurant market. However, as the home barbecue market UK Charcoal naturally expanded in this area. Importing in this way had it drawbacks, which prompted UK Charcoal to establish its own packing plant in London . In 2007 UK Charcoal installed its own briquette plant turning charcoal fines into briquettes, making it the only producer in the UK. UK Charcoal can therefore react quickly to the unpredictable British climate and enforce its policy to supply "Quality, Service and Value" to its customer. UK Charcoal has since diversified its operation to include a winter range of products such as coal products, hardwood logs and kindling wood as well as introducing a range of concrete barbecues to the UK. UK Charcoal can now be viewed as a company for all seasons. In 1999 UK Charcoal invested in a freehold property and established its own packing plant in London on a 8.5 acre site. The advantage is that we can carry a significant stock holding in bulk as well as in finished goods. Due to the unpredictable English weather, this system of packing and stock holding ensures quality, continuity of supply and being able to react quickly to market needs, with deliveries usually being made within 24 hours of receiving an order.
